After a perfect 9-0 regular season, East Noble moved into the No. 1 spot in Class 4A. The Knights overtook Bishop Chatard, which fell to 7-2 following a tough loss to Cincinnati Elder.
Heritage Hills and Mishawaka also made strong cases, while Roncalli and Pendleton Heights surged into the top five as postseason play approaches.
Brownsburg Dominates Class 6A
Brownsburg finished its season with an unblemished 9-0 record and remained the unanimous No. 1 team in Class 6A. Carmel, Crown Point, and Center Grove rounded out the top four, each boasting just one loss.
Brownsburg’s depth and offensive balance continue to make them the team to beat heading into Indiana’s toughest playoff bracket.
New Palestine Stays Perfect in 5A
New Palestine held onto the No. 1 ranking in Class 5A after a dominant 9-0 run. The Dragons captured all 20 first-place votes, cementing their place atop the division. Cathedral moved up to No. 2 after a late-season surge, while Bloomington South, Lafayette Jeff, and Merrillville filled out a competitive top five in the final poll.
Evansville Memorial Leads Balanced 3A Field
Evansville Memorial closed its regular season undefeated and remained the No. 1 team in Class 3A. The Tigers earned 17 of 20 first-place votes after another stellar performance on both sides of the ball.
Gibson Southern and Cascade tied for second, while Knox stayed unbeaten to secure the No. 4 spot in a deep and balanced division.
Adams Central Continues Its 2A Reign
In Class 2A, Adams Central continued its dominance, finishing 9-0 to retain the top ranking. The Flying Jets have been unstoppable all season, earning 17 first-place votes.
Brownstown Central and Lapel stayed close behind, each also undefeated, while Andrean and Eastbrook rounded out a fiercely competitive top five heading into postseason play.
Springs Valley Finishes on Top in Class A
Springs Valley completed a perfect season and maintained its grip on the No. 1 ranking in Class A. The Blackhawks received 12 first-place votes and enter the playoffs as the favorite.
Providence jumped to No. 2 after a strong finish, while Frontier and South Putnam impressed voters with consistent performances to stay near the top.
Key Teams on the Rise
Several programs made late-season pushes that caught statewide attention. Roncalli climbed to No. 5 in Class 4A after finding its rhythm, and Griffith made its debut in the 3A rankings at No. 8.
In Class A, Pioneer and Riverton Parke made major leaps, proving how volatile and competitive small-school football remains in Indiana.

Beyond the top ten, a number of teams narrowly missed ranking spots but received notable recognition. Warren Central, Avon, and Franklin Central earned votes in 6A, while Terre Haute South and Bloomington North gained attention in 5A.
